So it can't predict the future, but the latest biometric reader from Fujitsu can tell that you're one in a million -- quite literally. Looking something akin to the love child of Simon and a Polaroid camera, this as-of-yet unnamed device is apparently the "world's first biometric authentication technology that combines data on palm vein patterns with fingerprint data from three fingers." That's a mouthful, but Fujitsu says the combination of these two biometric authentication techniques allows for accurate identification of an individual in a pool of one million in just two seconds. What's more, it expects to up that capacity to groups of ten million by the end of 2011. For professional evildoers rocking three fingers and a palm, maybe now's a good time to start rethinking your career path.

Other Ways Relieve Pain Without Drugs Drinking
Taking medication it can relieve or cure a disease. But when you're always taking the drug, then there are some side effects that occur in the body. So how do I ease the pain without taking medicine?
"Every time you take (mengonsumi) whether it's drugs or prescription drugs without a prescription, then you will get some specific risks. If used regularly, then the risks will be more and more," said Sandra Kweder, MD, Deputy Director of the Office of New Drugs at the center Food & Drug Administration (FDA) the U.S. for drug evaluation and research, as reported by Menshealth, Thursday (06/02/2011).
Here's another way that could ease the pain without having to take medication, namely:
1. Cough, cough syrup with honey dressing
Honey quality and thick to be a substitute for cough syrup. Cough syrup and honey are basically doing the same, namely to 'cloak' that eliminates throat irritation. In fact, a study in Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine found that a spoonful of honey is better than dextromethorphan (DM).
2. Frequent headaches, replace painkillers to sleep
Drinking painkillers is fine to do, but it's not advisable to eat them often. "Avoid drug compound (a lot). Strive not (taking painkillers) more than two weeks," explained Peter Goadsby, MD, Director of the Headache Center at the University of California at San Francisco.
According to him, focus on patterns of sleep can relieve headaches. Brain areas that contribute to headache was also involved in sleep. So by keeping a good sleep pattern can reduce pain in the head.
3. Stress and mild depression, replace antidepressants with a calming brain activity
To combat the depression consider not using the drug. Find other activities that can soothe your mind, like listening to music, sports or a trip with family.
4. Constipation, laxative replace by drinking 2 glasses of water before breakfast
The large intestine can be slow moving or not absorb the liquid for several reasons such as not eating enough fiber, lack of exercise, dehydration and certain medications. But get rid of the habit of using laxatives and replace it with drank 2 glasses of water before breakfast. This will help ease your bowel movements.
5. Flu, replace the antiviral drug with food or activities that enhance the immune system
No need to take medication, some foods such as ginger, garlic, chili, hot liquids, foods that contain zinc (nuts, beans, seafood, soy) can also improve the immune system that can relieve flu symptoms. In addition, exercise more.
Electronic Waste Could Cause Heart Disease
Let's not waste carelessly used goods in your home electronics, such as computers, televisions or phones. In addition to damaging the environment, waste electronic goods could be a risk factor for heart disease and even cancer.
Not only damage the environment, waste electronic scrap (e-waste), it also can cause inflammation and oxidative stress (the amount of free radicals in the body exceeds the body's capacity to neutralize them) on the human body.
This was revealed from the results of research conducted with air samples collected from Taizhou, one of the largest electronic goods waste disposal in the region of China.
Researchers reveal that waste electronic goods such as computers, televisions or mobile phones can cause inflammation and oxidative stress which is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, DNA damage and even cancer.
The study was intended to measure the impact of electronic waste on human lung epithelial cells. The researchers wanted to test the level of Interleukin-8 (IL-8) which is believed to play a role in inflammatory response, and Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), which is chemically reactive molecules that are capable of producing cell damage.
The researchers also tried to detect p53 gene expression. This gene acts as a tumor suppressor by synthesizing proteins that help prevent cell damage. Expression of this gene acts as an indicator of cell damage.
Researchers noted a significant increase in levels of IL-8 and ROS. The same developments were also observed in p53 protein levels. Risk of soluble organic pollutants appear to be much higher than the water-soluble pollutants.
"Both the inflammatory response (inflammation) and oxidative stress can cause DNA damage, which can lead to oncogenesis or even cancer. Of course, inflammatory response and oxidative stress are also associated with other diseases, such as cardiovascular disease (blood vessels)," explains Dr. Yang Fangxing from Zhejiang University, as reported by Lifemojo, Thursday (02/06/2011).
Dr. Yang believes that the old techniques will definitely need some improvement. He also opposed the demolition of 'open' waste electronic goods and focus on the importance of proper protection methods for workers at the location. He also urged producers to consider environmental and human-friendly materials in production.

Milan defender Marek Jankulovski has announced his retirement from football at the age of 34
Milan defender Marek Jankulovski has announced his retirement from football at the age of 34.
The Czech Republic defender decided to hang up his boots after seeing his chances limited at San Siro this season.
“We had a very deep squad this season, there were 31 players, while only 11 could play at a time,” Jankulovski told Milan Channel.
“It wasn’t easy to make everyone play, so some inevitably had to sit out, but the important thing was to keep everyone involved, let it be a starter, a substitute or someone who watched the games from the stands.
“Coming to Italy from the Czech Republic was a big thing, not everyone has the chance to do it. And I lasted 11 years, six of which I spent at Milan, playing lots of games and being part of many victories. The beginning was not easy, but then everything was marvelous.
“Italy is my second homeland now, as is Milan my second home, but things come to an end. Fortunately, the memories remain and looking back on what I accomplished I realize all the great things I could do at Milan.”
“I don’t know, but I definitely won’t begin a coaching career. I wouldn’t mind working as a sports director or maybe as an agent to work with young lads and give back to football.”
The former Czech Republic international amassed 158 appearances for Milan after arriving from Udinese, while he represented the national team no less than 77 times.

Eva Longoria's Tips for the Grill
Just in time for summer cookout season, Eva Longoria has shared one of her delicious new recipes.
The “Desperate Housewives” actress, who was spotted arriving at LAX Airport last night (May 31), put out a cookbook called “Eva’s Kitchen” earlier this year and it is chock full of tasty ideas.
One of Eva’s concoctions is called Flank Steak with Lime Marinade, and it’s actually pretty easy to make.
Flank Steak with Lime Marinade
3 tbsp (50 mL) extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp (50 mL) fresh lime juice (about two limes)
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 serrano pepper, cored, seeded if desired, and thinly sliced
2 tsp (10 mL) chili powder
1 tsp (5 mL) ground cumin
1/2 tsp (2 mL) kosher salt
1½ lbs (750 g) flank steak
In shallow dish, place oil, lime juice, garlic, serrano, chili powder, cumin and salt. Stir until well blended.
Lay the flank steak in the dish and turn a few times until thoroughly coated.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator at least 2 hours and up to overnight (the longer, the better), turning occasionally. Lightly oil the grill grate and preheat a medium-high grill.
Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Grill for about 8 to 10 minutes total, turning once, for mediumrare.
Transfer to a cutting board and let stand for 5 minutes. Use a long, thin knife held at a slant to cut the steak across the grain into thin slices. Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
